Just a quick blog post (being my first) to let you know that unfortunately something ate the sunflowers that all the Pukekos sowed and I think I did witness were there for a few weeks anyhow!
Today, I decided to sow more seeds. A row of lettuce, 2 rows of carrots and some sunflowers in the middle near and around the 'sage' area! Please keep a look out if you see bugs eating anything and scare them off!!
Let's hope the 'patch' produces something over the summer break! P.S. the 3 tomato plants seem to be coming on well. I wonder when we will be able to start eating those yummy cherry tomatoes?!!
