Summer time- gardens time!

Thanks to Allan and Glennis who have kicked into gardening season with our tamariki. Great to see planting going on and beans being harvested. They are needing extra help on a Wednesday from parents though please! Great job Hendrix, Kael, Ewan and Kaitlin!

Thanks Allan and Glennis for doing a great job in the gardens today- lots of goodies were harvested and Broad bean and Lupins were sowed.

Harvest Time!

Thanks again Glennis and Allan for doing a great job with our tamariki in the school gardens. Loads of tomatoes and cucumbers being harvested. Passion fruit will be ready soon- YUM!

Planting our gardens November 2015

What a great job our amazing gardeners with some student helpers have done. The gardens are looking amazing! Thanks Allan, Glennis, Luke, Julian and Tim!

Thanks to Steve Edwards and Forest and Bird for helping every child in our school to pot up a native plant or 10 today! Great to get back into this and looking forward to our kids heading to Twin Lakes next week to plant out some more native plants.

Potato Harvest!

Gardeners start of the planting season

The gardeners were busy planting and watering seedlings today. Classes will be given some native tree seedlings to look after soon.
